The short version: your financial data stays in your own Google spreadsheet. MonetrixOS doesn't send your transactions, balances, budgets or any other workbook content anywhere. The only thing that leaves your spreadsheet is what's needed to check your licence.

Everything you enter — accounts, transactions, transfers, budgets, goals, loans, recurring rules, members, categories and settings — is stored in your spreadsheet, in your Google account. We don't keep a copy of your workbook and can't see what's in it.

Inside the spreadsheet, the add-on also keeps:

• an activation record in the workbook's document properties: your licence key, an activation token, and the dates it was activated and last checked. Anyone you share the workbook with as an editor can use this activation;
• your preferences, such as auto-open and automatic updates;
• a technical log in a hidden tab, to help diagnose problems. Your licence key isn't written to it.

Google stores your spreadsheet under your agreement with Google.

To check your licence, the add-on contacts the MonetrixOS licence server when you activate, and then about once every 30 days. It sends:

• your licence key;
• your workbook's ID — a random identifier Google gives every spreadsheet, not its name or content;
• the activation token it received when you activated;
• when you first activate, the Google account email of the person activating, which the add-on reads with the "See your primary Google Account email address" permission. We use it to tie the activation to the purchaser, to detect shared or resold licence keys and for licence support — never for marketing.

The licence server stores your buyer email (as received from Whop), your licence and its status, the workbooks activated with it, and a log of activation and check attempts including the IP address and browser information of each request. Why, and for how long, is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Your purchase is handled by Whop, the merchant of record. We receive your email address, your licence key and updates about refunds or disputes — never your card details. See Buying & your licence.

The add-on asks Google for five permissions only: the current spreadsheet, contacting the licence server, showing the sidebar, running scheduled tasks, and seeing your Google account email address. It has no access to your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts or calendar. See Google permissions explained.

The add-on contains no advertising and no analytics.

• Your workbook is yours: you can copy it, share it, or delete it in Google Sheets at any time.
• You can remove the add-on's access from your Google Account settings at any time.
