Budget History & Net Worth History
The two tabs MonetrixOS fills in by itself every month — budget snapshots and your net worth over time.

Two tabs are written by MonetrixOS on its own, once a month. You don't type anything in them; they build up a record of your money over time.
The 📚 Budget History tab keeps archived snapshots of your budgets. A row is added for each active budget when the monthly rollover runs on the 1st of the month.
Each row records the budget's Budget Name, Budget Type, Target, Start Date and End Date of the period, Amount, Spent (auto), Remaining (auto), % Used (auto), Status (auto) and Owner, plus the Date the snapshot was taken.
Use it to look back at how each budget went, month after month.
The 📈 Net Worth History tab records your net worth once a month. On the 1st of every month, early in the morning, MonetrixOS adds a row with:
- Snapshot Date — the day of the snapshot;
- Net Worth — the total of your account balances;
- Assets — the total of the accounts with a positive balance;
- Debt — what is still owed on your loans.
These snapshots feed the Net Worth Δ vs prior figure on the Dashboard and the net-worth chart in the sidebar's Analytics.
The tab starts empty. The first snapshot is taken on the 1st of the month after you set up your workbook. So that your net-worth chart isn't empty on that day, the first snapshot also adds estimated values for up to 12 earlier months.
- Don't type in these tabs or reorder their rows: MonetrixOS adds to them and reads them back.
- If you reset the workbook, their contents are deleted along with everything else.
